When We Are Closed
All out of hours services are the responsibility of the Wirral Primary Care Trust. All patients can access this service between the hours of 18:30 p.m. and 08:00 a.m. Mondays to Fridays and all day and night Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays by first ringing the surgery.

If you decide to ring the surgery, have a pencil and paper ready to take down any numbers given.
When the surgery and OOH are both closed, (08:00 - 08:30 and 18:00 - 18:30) we offer a strict emergency policy only, if you need urgent attention by a GP during this time telephone 327 1391 and you will be given a mobile telephone number to ring.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
